Dreaming of Summer on a Snowy Day

This morning we woke up to a "snow day" and school were canceled for all of us!  As I looked out the window at the foot of snow that buried my wrought-iron furniture,  fountain and vines, I found myself daydreaming about what my garden/deck looked like last summer.
Knowing at my age you shouldn't wish your life away, I decided to appreciate being inside my warm and cozy home with my family.  It didn't stop my daydreaming though about the many ways we can dine alfresco when it is warm....

Which one is your favorite?  : )

SUE JACK!!!!!!!!!!!

I do hope you see my comment here; I see your date for this post is February. THANK YOU FOR VISITING and do you know that I NEVER KNEW that chicks were dyed and given as Easter gifts? Maybe living in the city as a child really kept me from so many things!!!! That is a sweet story about you and your siblings and their chicks...poor little chick with the broken leg, but ooooh, he got a little splint!!!!

I HOPE YOU ARE WELL! THANK YOU FOR VISITING ME and I think of you constantly when I go into my living room...there sits that magnificent vintage French dictionary!!!
